General Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree: 1-year/2-semester master's (after 4-yr bachelor's) OR 2-year/4-semester master's (after 3-yr bachelor's) with at least 55% aggregate marks.
- 4-Year Bachelor's Degree: Direct Ph.D. entry after 4-year/8-semester bachelor's with minimum 75% aggregate marks.
- M.Phil Degree: Candidates with M.Phil degree securing at least 55% aggregate marks are eligible.
- 5% Relaxation: 5% marks relaxation allowed for SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / Differently-Abled / EWS categories.
Important Guidelines & NOC
- Mandatory Course Work: Scholars must attend regular classes at City Campus, Khanapara, Guwahati for the first 6 months. Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for exam eligibility.
- Employer NOC (Annexure-II): Employed candidates MUST submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer on official letterhead during admission.
- Program Duration: Minimum 3 years, maximum 6 years (extendable up to 8 years; Female & PWD candidates get up to 10 years max).
- Hostel Facility: KKHSOU currently does not provide hostel facilities. Candidates must arrange own stay during Course Work.
